General rental terms
§ 1 Scope
These terms govern the temporary rental of a fexobox® photo booth between the customer and fexon e.K., owner Christian Fischer, An der Eisbahn 8, 07973 Greiz, Germany.
The English language version is provided for understanding only. It does not create a separate UK booking country. The operational and legal conditions of the selected booking country remain applicable.
§ 2 Offer and rental service
Customers can reserve or book a photo booth through the website. The contract covers temporary provision of the agreed photo booth, accessories, print material where included, delivery and return handling according to the selected booking country.
Reservations may be held for a limited period. A binding booking is created once the offer is accepted and the required payment or payment method is completed.
§ 3 Rental price and payment
The rental price shown during booking applies to the selected event date and package. Unless stated otherwise, payment is due in advance. Invoices are issued using the billing details supplied by the customer.
Taxes, reverse-charge handling, payment methods and payment fees follow the selected booking country and the active checkout configuration.
§ 4 Cancellation and date changes
A cancellation or date change is possible only while the photo booth has not yet been dispatched or otherwise prepared in a way that prevents the change. Depending on the time of cancellation, cancellation fees may apply under the German source terms.
Where a date change is possible, it is subject to availability for the requested new date and the applicable price at that time.
§ 5 Loss and damage
The customer must handle the photo booth, accessories, printer, USB stick and packaging carefully and protect them from moisture, impact, theft and improper use.
If equipment is lost, damaged or returned incomplete, fexon e.K. may charge the repair, replacement or loss value, subject to the customer's right to prove a lower loss.
§ 6 Incomplete performance
If the photo booth or a component does not work as expected, the customer must contact support without delay and follow reasonable troubleshooting instructions. Claims may be reduced if the customer does not report the issue in time or does not allow support to help.
§ 7 Ownership and return of consumables
The rented equipment remains the property of fexon e.K. Unused print material, opened paper rolls, ribbons and accessories must be returned with the photo booth unless we have explicitly stated otherwise.
If consumables or accessories are not returned, they may be charged at the applicable replacement price plus statutory tax where applicable.
§ 8 Late return
The photo booth must be returned or made ready for pickup according to the return instructions for the selected booking country. For late return, a usage fee of 150 EUR per day may apply. Example fees: 300 EUR for two late days and 600 EUR for four late days.
§ 9 Online gallery
If an online gallery or similar digital service is booked, the customer is responsible for ensuring that guests are informed about photo use and that only suitable images are uploaded or shared.
§ 10 Right of withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are provided on the withdrawal page. The right can expire once the individually prepared and dispatched service has started, subject to the applicable statutory requirements.
§ 11 Jurisdiction and dispute resolution
The operator is based in Germany. Mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
